Fall Foliage in the Berkshires

Visiting the Berkshires for Fall Foliage?  If so, plan to stay with the Gateways Inn in Lenox and take advantage of their Taste of Fall Package and experience the beauty and excitement of the fall foliage season in the Berkshires!  So what is included?  Everything that is needed to enjoy a fall day!

Enjoy a fun filled trip to a local apple orchard where you will hand pick your own apples and see what it takes to get the job done.  After the excitement of picking apples is done, sit back and enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride and take a tour of the orchard. Once back at the Gateways Inn, chef and owner Rosemary will share with you her award-winning apple pie recipe.  Of course, a private baking lesson is included to make sure that you get it just right!  Then it is time to enjoy the apple pie, yum!  I can just imagine the smells coming from the oven and tasting it will be even better. 

The Taste of Fall Package is available from September 20 through November 22, with a 2 night stay.  It includes everything above including the apple picking, recipe, private baking lesson, and oh yes, your very own homemade apple pie!  This is just the perfect way to enjoy fall foliage in the Berkshires and enjoy the apple pie.
